I showcased my soaps and candles today in my hometown on the .
The absolute highlight of today was when I met some RETURNING CUSTOMERS! 🥹🥰😍

It was so awesome to see that my concept of zero plastic and handmade soaps and candles started to prove that all that meticulous product testing and development was not for nothing and you guys care as much of being plastic free and an ethical shopper as I am. 🤗

⛈️ OMG, the weather was not May-like today though - what a wet day overall. 😅😭

The first market is done! 🥳🤗

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my little chalet at the on Saturday and Sunday!
This officially marks The Poppy Seed's very first event with the goal of being an in-person brand launch as well.

It was great to meet people, talk to them, ask about their preferences and to see how well my ideas = recipes/products would work outside of the warm and supporting bubble of my lovely friends and family. 🤓

Throughout these 2 unbelievably long days I have learnt A LOT. Now I have some great insights and ideas for the near future already. 😌😇

I hope I already met some of my future returning customers on the weekend; one thing is for sure, I did meet a lot of lovely people, MY FIRST CUSTOMERS! 🥹
I still can't believe people liked my creations I've been working on for so long. Each soap recipe, each soap design, each candle was such a long journey with a lot of testing and development.

What makes The Poppy Seed soaps different and better than any commercial bars and shower gels? - THE RECIPE!

🔸Using only natural and genuine ingredients; no SLS, no parabens, no artificial preservatives but rich oils and fats for nourishment and a soft lather. 🫧
🔸For colourants in the LAVANDULA LIMONADA bar I'm using only organic plant-, and fairly sourced earth-based powders, such as white kaolin clay, ultramarine violet powder, yellow oxide and a pinch of organic Poppy Seed for gentle exfoliation - avoiding cosmetic mica's overall! 💜🤍💛
🔸The LAVANDULA LIMONADA gentle scrub bar is available in a scented and a perfume-free variant as well. 🥳
For those who like scent in their soap I added a fresh and floral fragrance using exclusively EU lab tested and approved cosmetic grade scent. 👃
And for those who prefer 100% au natural, I'm offering exactly the same but without the scent! 🥳
🔸For a gentle exfoliating effect I added a pinch of organic Poppy Seed.

🔸For colourants in the ESPRESSO AFFAIR scrub bar I'm using only organic plant-, and fairly sourced earth-based powders, such as white kaolin clay, dark roasted Arabica coffee beans and ground, organic cocoa powder and a pinch of titanium dioxide- avoiding cosmetic mica's overall! 🤎🤍🖤
🔸The ESPRESSO AFFAIR scrub bar is ONLY available perfume-free variant to let the natural coffee scent dominate.👃🥳
🔸For a gentle exfoliating effect I added a pinch of fresh coffee ground. This makes the ESPRESSO AFFAIR a scrub bar so I advise to use less frequently throughout the week not to harm your skin's healthy barriers.
