OPEN CALL | Models & Performers 💥

Want to be part of FASHIONCLASH Festival 2026? We’re looking for models and performers to join The CLASH House — an evening of 10 unique fashion performances, from runway and dance to spoken word and beyond.

✨ No experience needed! During our casting you’ll also take part in a performance workshop led by theatre and dance professionals, where you’ll explore movement, improvisation and performance.

Met deze laatste editie komt de TexTiles-verhalenreeks op de communitypagina van FASHIONCLASH op Ons Limburgs Museum tot een einde.

In deze afsluitende editie deelt Sewien het verhaal achter haar TexTile ‘Every flower is delayed dream’, dat inmiddels door Maastricht Museum is geselecteerd voor opname in de collectie.

Ook hoor je in een audiofragment hoe Chiara vertelt over haar outfit, waarin zij haar veranderende blik op Europa vertaalt naar textiel, kleur en vorm.

Tot slot blikken we terug op de TexTiles BlockParty, waar honderden persoonlijke verhalen samenkwamen in één groot textielkunstwerk op Plein 1992.

We proudly present the first campaign images for the 18th edition created by Hashim Nasr

The campaign brings together African and Middle Eastern cultural traditions through a surrealist and avant-garde visual language. Set against open landscapes and carefully staged environments, the images transform traditional symbols, clothing, rituals and objects into dreamlike narratives in which the boundaries between memory, mythology and contemporary identity blur.

By bringing together diverse cultural references in symbolic scenes, the campaign creates a space in which heritage is not only preserved but also reimagined. Through conceptual photography and carefully constructed visual narratives, it celebrates cultural connections while exploring themes of connection, transformation and collective imagination.

Developed by Sudanese visual artist and photographer Hashim Nasr, the campaign reflects FASHIONCLASH Festival’s commitment to presenting diverse perspectives and creating space for new narratives.

Throwback: TexTiles BlockParty ✨

A look back at the TexTiles BlockParty, where hundreds of participants, artists, partners and visitors gathered on Plein 1992 in Maastricht for the first full unveiling of the collective TexTiles artwork.

The programme brought together performances, fashion, workshops, conversations and shared moments around the many stories that shape TexTiles.

Hoe zie jij Europa? 👀✨

Binnen TexTiles van FASHIONCLASH verbeelden deelnemers hun visie op Europa in textiel. Daarnaast staat ook het ontwerpen van outfits centraal als manier om ideeën, ervaringen en perspectieven op Europa zichtbaar te maken. Voor Annemiek staat Europa vooral voor de vrijheid om te ontdekken, nieuwe plekken te bezoeken en andere culturen te ontmoeten. In haar TexTile ‘Ode aan de vreugde’ komen deze elementen samen in een persoonlijk perspectief op Europa.

Die zoektocht naar wat Europa betekent, krijgt ook vorm in de outfits van Senna. In haar twee ontwerpen staan verschillende stemmen en perspectieven centraal. Deze outfits waren, naast die van andere deelnemers, te zien tijdens een performance van de Toneelacademie Maastricht tijdens de BlockParty. We’re looking for works that don’t fit neatly. Works that leak, mutate, resist categorisation, and challenge dominant systems.

Selected works will become part of the New Fashion Narratives exhibition at Bureau Europa during FASHIONCLASH Festival 2026.
