Bij lipofilling maak je gebruik van lichaamseigen vet, wat uit een deel van het lichaam wordt weggezogen en, in geval van een borstreconstructie, in de borst weer wordt ingespoten.
Het kan helpen om pijnklachten te verminderen omdat de vetcellen de doorbloeding in de pijnlijke gebieden kunnen verbeteren. Ook zorgen vetcellen voor meer volume en de behandeling leidt nauwelijks tot extra littekens.
