Happy International Women’s Day! 💐
Today we celebrated in style, thanks to the support of Theater Vaillant, who provided us with a wonderful platform to host our very first workshop:
No Bad Hair Day!
With enthusiastic participants and a fantastic presenter, we explored the basic foundation needed to begin and maintain a healthy hair journey. The session created a welcoming space to learn, share experiences, and build confidence in caring for our hair.
Topics we discussed included:
- Understanding the essentials of healthy hair care
- Identifying your hair type and its specific needs
- Easy and effective hairstyles, and how to maintain them
- The basic foundation for creating a simple hair care routine
The true highlight of the workshop was the incredible engagement from our participants. Their curiosity, questions, and shared experiences reminded us that our work is only just beginning. Hair knowledge deserves to be shared and celebrated.
So the question is… should there be a Part 2?✨

Today I’m sharing something very close to my heart.
Gro’Minx Essentials was created from my love for natural hair, my Caribbean roots, and my background in science. Every product is made with intention, using plant based ingredients and no fillers, because I believe our hair deserves care that is honest and nourishing.
