First, people put the Bird in a cage to admire her beauty and enjoy her suffering in captivity… But soon people got bored of it… People wanted more cruelty! Then they decided to cut off the Bird's wings so that the Bird could never fly over the world and over them again!

People tore out the Bird's wings and rejoiced at their superiority! Huge drops of blood flowed from the gaping wounds on the Bird's back. They fell to the ground, already drowning in blood…

People gave the bird a suitcase, and said, "Go Bird! We have enjoyed your beauty and your suffering! Go and carry your wings in this suitcase as a memory of your hopes and dreams that will never come true again! Go and suffer further! But we need new victims!..."

I'm flying to Moscow in a couple of days... Moscow in winter is not easy. It's cold, dark, dirty snow on the roads, terrible traffic jams, a constant race in an attempt to manage everything in time and make everyone happy. But there are a lot of other advantages: I will see people dear to my heart! All those who are waiting for me, miss me, and despite the distance, they keep a sincere, warm connection with me. It's priceless!!! I've missed you madly!
Meetings are already planned – emotional, creative and commercial ones. I can't wait to see everyone and hug! I’ll have to ignore the distance of 1.5.
And looking at these photos - distant echoes of summer - I will remember the opportunities that the Universe has sent me this year! I have implemented something, but I still have to work on something!

Через пару дней лечу в Москву… Москва зимой – ну прям испытание. Холодно, темно, грязный снег на дорогах, жуткие пробки, постоянная гонка в попытке всё успеть и всех осчастливить. Но есть и куча других плюсов: я увижу, дорогих моему сердцу, людей! Всех тех, кто ждет меня, скучает по мне, и несмотря на расстояние, поддерживает со мной душевную, теплую связь. Это бесценно!!! Я безумно по вам соскучилась!
Уже запланированы встречи – душевные, творческие и коммерческие. Жду, не дождусь, когда я со всеми увижусь и обнимусь! Придется игнорировать дистанцию в 1.5м. А гляди на эти фотографии – дальние отголоски лета, - я буду вспоминать те возможности, которые послала мне Вселенная в этом году! Что-то я реализовала, а над чем-то еще предстоит работать!

There are faces that seem to pass through epochs, facial features that travel through time. They cannot be called fashionable or seductive – they are eternal! They will always be on trend, they will always find their artist / their photographer / their poet - because they carry an ABSOLUTE beauty! The variety is only in the presentation or makeup.

At some point, I was just electrocuted – I recognized in this face - the image of the Madonna of the Italian Renaissance. It's as if she stepped off the paintings of Botticelli, Raphael or Bronzino.

Life always shows us amazing signs, references to the past or to the future. Who knows, maybe I saw a Madonna’s image in Zhenya’s face not for nothing?...

Есть лица, которые проходят как бы сквозь эпохи, черты лица, путешествующие во времени. Их нельзя назвать модными или соблазнительными – они вечные! Они всегда буду в тренде, они всегда найдут своего художника / своего фотографа / своего поэта - потому что это АБСОЛЮТНАЯ красота! Разновидность - только в подаче образа и макияже.

В какой-то момент меня просто током пробило – я узнала в этом лице – образ Мадонны эпохи итальянского возрождения (эпохи Ренессанса). Она как будто сошла с полотен Боттичели, Рафаэля или Бронзино.

Жизнь всегда подкидывает нам удивительные знаки, референсы в прошлое или в будущее. А может я увидела в Жене Мадонну – не случайно?...

Yesterday I was running around the city… And then I suddenly stopped… The cold north wind blew into my face, and an oak leaf fell right into my hand... It was so strange, beautiful and mysterious… And I realized that even autumn was already over. And winter is coming! Snow has already fallen in Moscow. For a moment I felt sad that the warmth had gone until next year, that the light days had become so noticeably shorter, and I’m wrapping in my scarf like into the morning blanket… But this is life, isn't it?! Change of seasons. Everything dies to be reborn again...

I was attacked by melancholy. I sat down in a cafe with mulled wine, and began remembering the wonderful good moments of the warm season. One of the sweet meeting of August was a meeting with the charming Zhenechka! Take a look at her mysterious look! These are my memories of the gone summer…

Вчера я бегала по городу… А потом внезапно остановилась, в лицо пахнул холодный северный ветер, и дубовый лист упал мне прям на ладонь… Было так странно, красиво и загадочно… И я поняла, что уже и осень закончилась. И зима близко! В Москве уже и снег выпал. На мгновение стало тоскливо, что тепло ушло до следующего года, что световые дни так заметно стали короче, и я кутаюсь в свой шарф, как в утреннее одеяло… Но это ведь жизнь?! Смена сезонов. Всё умирает, чтобы родиться вновь…

На меня напала меланхолия. Я уселась в кафе с глинтвейном, и начала вспоминать о прекрасных добрых моментах теплого сезона. Одно из душевных событий августа – встреча с очаровательной Женечкой! Взгляните на ее загадочный образ! Это мои воспоминания ушедшего лета…

The rules for visiting public places in the Netherland are getting strict again. All restaurants must be closed after 19h. Masks are required everywhere again. I got worried that everything will be closed again, and I ran to the museum of the artist and illustrator Maurice Cornelis Escher. I live in a nearby side street, and I still never visited this museum. Today miracle has happened! Everyone went to protest against the new Crown restrictions, and I went to the museum.

This artist is absolutely great, psychedelic crazy and unforgivably talented! He was able to think and draw not only in perspective, but also spherical at the same time! He was a great illustrator, graphic artist and a designer. Guys! Everyone should get to know his work better!

And also, I really wanted to see this building inside. In this royal palace the Dutch Queen Emma lived (a granddaughter of Princess Anna Pavlovna Romanova)!

В Нидерландах опять ужесточают правила посещения общественных мест. Все рестораны закрыты после 19ч. Вход везде только в масках. Я перепугалась, что все закроют, и побежала в Музей художника и иллюстратора Мариуса Корнелиса Эшера. Живу в соседнем переулке, и все никак не могу посетить этот музей. Чудо свершилось. Все пошли протестовать против новых Коронных ограничений, а я пошла в музей.

Художник этот совершенно великий, психоделически сумасшедший и непростительно талантливый! Он умел думать и рисовать не только в перспективе, но и сферически – одновременно! Он был великолепным иллюстратором, графиком и дизайнером. Ребята! Всем стоит познакомиться с его творчеством ближе!

А еще, - я очень хотела увидеть это здание внутри. В этом величественном дворце жила голландская королева Эмма (внучка принцессы Анны Павловны Романовой)!

После съемок этого образа я получила много вопросов в директ рассказать – КАК я работаю над образами, и где черпаю вдохновение.
Вдохновение – оно повсюду. Смотрю на перемотке фильмы, слушаю музыку в стиле будущего образа. А подготовка такая:
Сначала рисую образ. Думаю, каким характером наделить персонаж.
Собираю мудборд по материалам, текстурам, цветам, картинкам настроения. Это очень важный этап. Так образ обрастает деталями.
Рыщу в интернете и магазинах. Заказываю подходящие материалы, детали для костюма.
Потом долго сижу, шью/перешиваю костюм, делаю короны, реквизит. На создание образа уходит 3 – 30 дней работы.
А дальше дело техники: макияж, укладка, стайлинг модели. Фотосъемка. И потом опять часы, иногда дни ретуши.
Так картинка перед вашими глазами имеет за собой неделю-несколько месяцев подготовки. Но пока меня прёт – я продолжаю!

After shooting of this image, I received a lot of questions in DM to tell HOW I work on images, and where I get inspiration.
Inspiration is everywhere. I watch movies on rewind, listen to music in the style of the future image. And the process is following:
First I draw a personage. I fantasize what kind of character to give to him.
I make a moodboard based on materials, textures, colors, moody pictures. This is a very important step. So the personage becomes overgrown with details.
I search and order in Internet and stores the suitable materials, details for the costume.
Then I sew/redo the costumes, make headpieces & props. It takes 3 – 30 days of work to create an outfit.
And then it's a matter of technique: makeup, playing with hair, styling of the model. Photoshooting. And then again hours, sometimes days of retouching.
So the picture in front of your eyes has a week or several months of preparation behind it. But while I'm exited, I'm going on!

In addition to the crown and the costume for this photostory, I made a darkly beautiful as a Gothic violin. Those who know me are aware that I have been playing the violin for 13 years of my life. I studied at a music school, played in a rock band... How I wish I could find these photos! Therefore, the violin for me is a sacred musical instrument, an unearthly creation. Not even once I’ve used the violin in my shootings - it's something beautiful and incomprehensible for me.
Thanks to a friend who gave me a violin for my birthday! I savagely painted my violin with silver paint and decorated it with black lace and flowers. I reassure myself that my friend liked my creation, and the violin did not mind! Allow the violin to captivate you with its charming playing in the dark mist! 🎻

P.S. I was lazy to iron the drapery either with an iron or with Photoshop.

Помимо короны и костюма к этому образу, я сделала мрачно-прекрасный реквизит в виде готической скрипки. Те, кто меня знают, осведомлены, что 13 лет своей жизни я играла на скрипке. Училась в музыкальной школе, пилила в рок-группе… Найти бы эти фото! Поэтому скрипка для меня – священный музыкальный инструмент, неземное создание. Я не раз использовала скрипку в своих съемках – ка нечто прекрасное и непостижимое.
Спасибо другу, который подарил мне скрипку на день рождения! Она была варварски выкрашена серебряной краской и украшена черными кружевами и цветами. Успокаиваю себя тем, что другу мое творение понравилось, а скрипка – не возражала! Позвольте скрипке увлечь вас своей чарующей игрой в темный туман! 🎻
