Concept Yoga

Today my youngest celebrated her birthday with her friends, and I had girls from all over the world around the table: China, Korea, Peru, US, Russia and France. Seeing all of them coming together warms my heart. These girls living away from their country, blending into a new culture, learning a new language (and mind you it’s Dutch! Not the easiest) and just being happy to be very good friends. Children truly are our teachers. 🙏🏽

Le cours pour adolescentes reprend bientôt !!! Au programme: techniques de concentration, de relaxation, pour laisser aller le stress et aussi des exercices pour aider pendant la période des menstruations, et bien plus encore tout cela dans une ambiance détendue et un espace de confiance et de respect.

Last Saturday I had the honor of being invited to the 80th Independence Day from India as a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner. It was a beautiful celebration and it felt very special to share that moment with this community from which I have still so much to learn.
I am looking forward to other opportunities to discover their history, culture and tradition, and to collaborate with them to further develop Concept Yoga 😁

Meet the Hoodie gang from my Thursday class 😅 All wrapped up in blankets, supported by comfy pillows and feeling protected with the hoodie on, I can tell you those teenage girls had a very restful relaxation yesterday evening 🙏🏽

A yoga teacher—and longtime student—considers the qualities that make an instructor truly exceptional.

Parce que j’aurais adoré découvrir cette pratique à cet âge…
Parce que l’année dernière j’ai eu 6 jeunes filles qui ne rataient pas un cours et ont montrées une super motivation tout au long de l’année pour venir se détendre et apprendre des outils efficaces contre l’anxiété, les crampes menstruelles, pour apprendre à se relaxer, à mieux connaître son corps et même à l’aimer…
Et parce que c’est ce que j’aime faire: apprendre des outils à mes élèves pour qu’elles/ils puissent profiter au maximum et se sentir bien dans leur vie.
