This time, it was a student. 🇸🇽✨

A few months ago, I shared my experience getting my nails done back home in Sint Maarten… and how badly that appointment went.

So somehow, life coming full circle like THIS felt special.

Before her trip to Europe, she contacted me asking if there was any way I could fit her in for a BIAB training while she was here.

And I won’t lie… the morning of the course, I was nervous. Not because I doubted my ability to teach. But because I understood the weight of what she invested to be there.

The course.
Her flight to the Netherlands.
Train rides.
Hotel.
Taxi back to the airport.
That’s not “just taking a class.”

That’s betting on yourself.
And honestly? That deserves to be taken seriously.

We couldn’t even find a last-minute model, so she worked on me instead. 😂

But somewhere between her nerves and mine, the laughs, the conversations, and the tiny refinements… things just clicked.

One thing I told her that day:
“You’re already good. We’re just refining now.”

Because talent was never the issue.
Sometimes you don’t need to start over.
You just need guidance, reassurance, and someone willing to pour into you properly.

And seeing another Caribbean woman take such a leap for herself? Yeah… that meant a lot to me.
