| Two spans of the old Quirino (Banaoang) Bridge at Brgy. Banaoang, Santa, Ilocos Sur were washed out.

The historic arch bridge connecting the towns of Santa and Bantay was inaugurated in 1933 (Photo credit to Narvacan Historical Society). It was called the "Bridge of Peace" and it has historical value between the Philippines and Japan.

Parallel to the old Quirino (Banaoang) Bridge is the new Quirino Bridge that was built in 2007 and inaugurated by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in 2009.
