The days before Norway’s Independence Day are not for the weak.

The mornings get earlier, the schedule gets insane, and suddenly your whole life becomes clients, coffee, cleaning, one cigarette, and pretending you’re completely fine.

Very glamorous. Very elegant. Very not okay.

The salon turns into full luxury chaos —
everyone wants perfect hair, no one wants to wait, and somehow you still have to look like you’re in control.

Exhausting? Yes.
Chaotic? Absolutely.
Worth it? Also yes.

Because behind all this madness is one very beautiful thing — trust.

And that part, I never take for granted. 🫶🏻

No one stands on that stage alone.✨

This event was never meant to be just “another beauty event.”

We wanted to create a space where beauty, knowledge, atmosphere, and real connection could exist together — naturally and beautifully.

From styling demos and scalp analysis to personal recommendations, good conversations, vintage details, and the whole mood of the day — everything was designed to feel inspiring, relaxed, and actually useful.

Not just pretty.
Not just social.
But real.

Even with careful preparation, something can still go wrong.
And learning how to handle that is part of the process.

This wasn’t my first championship, but I was still nervous, tired, and running on very little sleep. There was no way around that.

Big competitions don’t only test your technique.
They test your focus, your nerves, your body, and your ability to keep going when things don’t feel perfect.

For me, this is also part of the work — learning about myself, growing through it, and coming back stronger, calmer, and more confident.

That’s how real progress happens.

Competitions change you.

Not only as a hair artist —
but as a professional, a thinker, and a person.

They take you out of your routine, out of your comfort zone, and force you to see your work from a completely different level.

You learn faster.
You see more.
You understand where you are strong — and where you still need to grow.

For me, championships have never been only about winning.
They are about development, discipline, experience, and building a stronger eye, stronger hands, and a stronger mind.

And honestly — after every competition, you come back different.
