Homemade sugar scrub 🍊✨
Made with simplicity, care, and the joy of creating together -Family time.
Ingredients:
🍬 sugar
🥑 avocado oil
🌰 almond oil
🍊 orange essential oil
✨ coenzyme Q10
🫧 a gentle foaming agent based on SCI
🎨 a touch of food-grade coloring
This scrub gently exfoliates while nourishing the skin with oils, so it doesn’t feel dry after use.
Thanks to the SCI, it lightly foams and rinses off easily, leaving the skin soft and smooth.
Perfect especially in winter — and even more special when it’s part of family moments, shared time, and small homemade rituals 🤍🍊

Today we made something special together 🤍
Together with my daughter, we prepared a homemade body butter as a small thank-you gift for some of the most important people in her life — her kindergarten teachers.
Made with shea butter, cocoa butter, almond and avocado oils, beeswax, lanolin, orange extract and a little distilled water.
✨ Rich, protective and nourishing — especially great for winter, wind and very dry skin.
Best applied on slightly damp skin to help lock in moisture.
I truly recommend this kind of simple, rich formula for children and adults who spend a lot of time outdoors, or for very dry and sensitive skin.
With my own eczema, I use formulas like this especially to protect my hands during winter.
Sometimes the most meaningful gifts are the ones made together, with care and intention 🤍

Today on Eco Cosmetics Handmade… we’re taking a little break from cosmetics 😉
Instead, here’s something created with lots of joy and tiny hands that wanted to “make a gift for someone special.”
❄️🎄 My daughter and I made some simple, festive treats:
melted milk chocolate, a handful of nuts, colorful sprinkles, and little sticks.
Nothing complicated — but so much laughter, mess, and beautiful time together.
And you know what?
Projects like this are the perfect way to slow down for a moment during the busy December rush.
Kids love making something “for someone,” and these homemade sweet gifts really are the cutest. ❤️
I highly recommend it — as a family activity and a small gift straight from the heart.
Do you also make your own little holiday goodies?

Today my friend is coming over… She doesn’t know yet that a little surprise is waiting for her – a set of handmade natural skincare products 🌿💛
The newest addition is a coffee and beige clay face mask – fragrant, refreshing, and full of life for the skin.
☕ Coffee – a natural exfoliator that smooths the skin, boosts circulation, and reduces puffiness.
🌿 Beige clay – gently purifies and evens the skin tone.
🍊 Orange extract – brightens and uplifts the mood.
💧 Glycerin and avocado oil – deeply moisturize and nourish.
🌱 Rosemary hydrosol – tones and refreshes the skin.
It’s so easy to make at home – for yourself or as a heartfelt gift for someone special. 💫
Because natural beauty means simplicity, mindfulness… and a little bit of coffee 😉

💋 A lip gloss you can make with your child!
How to make it? 🤗
Simply melt some food-grade coconut oil and mix it with a food-safe flavored oil — I used vanilla.
Add a bit of sweetener if you like.
And remember: apply lip gloss on moistened lips for the best effect. 👄💄
A fun, safe and cozy little DIY moment to share together. 🌸

Homemade Shampoo Bar – without sodium hydroxide? Is it possible⁉️
Yep, it is! 🤗🌞
I’ve been testing another method of making shampoo — this time, in a bar form. It’s gentle, foamy, and works beautifully.
What I used:
• 50 g SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate)
• Avocado oil
• Glycerin
• Orange essential oil
• Chamomile infusion
• Beige clay
• A small amount of rye flour
🌿 How I made it:
I started by preparing the chamomile infusion, then dissolved the SCI in about 150 ml of it.
Separately, I warmed up the oils and added them to the mixture.
Next, I slowly added the clay until it formed a smooth, thick mass — and to make it even denser, I mixed in a bit of rye flour.
When the mass started to dry, I pressed it into silicone molds and placed them in the fridge.
I used one larger mold and later cut the solid bar into smaller pieces.
💧 How to use:
Place a small piece of the bar in a glass or cup of warm water.
Wait for it to dissolve — it foams beautifully and is enough for two washes.
When you’re done, you can even use the remaining clay as a softening hair mask. 🌸

🌸 Hello everyone,
A little personal update — over two months ago, my second child was born. It was a beautiful and emotional moment, but also a challenging time for my health. Unfortunately, my condition has returned quite strongly.
Because my scalp reacts badly to almost every shampoo I’ve tried — from pharmacy brands to organic ones — I decided to go back to basics and make a simple soapwort-based shampoo.
My scalp tolerates it really well — no irritation, no allergic reaction — just relief. 💚
The process is simple and gentle enough to make at home:
You’ll need:
• 100 g of dried soapwort root
• 150 ml of distilled water
• 2.5–3 ml avocado oil
• 10–30 drops of herbal extract (I used rosemary)
• Cosmetic glycerin
• One clean, empty bottle
How to make it:
Place the crushed root in a water bath with water and simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
Let it cool, strain the liquid, and add avocado oil, herbal extract, and glycerin.
Top up with warm water and mix well.
The shampoo is quite liquid in texture and can be stored in the fridge for up to two weeks. I used mine for four washes, and my scalp finally felt calm again. 🌿
(Homemade and simple — made for myself, not for sale.)
