Mindfit started with a real need.
Hilde was going through a difficult time with stress, negative thoughts, and self-criticism. She wanted something simple she could turn to in everyday life.
Together with her sister Janne, a clinical psychologist, that idea became Mindfit.
What started as something Hilde needed became something we wanted to share with others. 💚
Founded in Norway in 2014, Mindfit is built on CBT, Positive Psychology, and EMDR-inspired techniques.

Some things drain us. Other things give us something back.
When life gets busy, it’s easy to pay more attention to what isn’t working than to what actually makes us feel good.
That’s one of the reasons we created My Good Things in Mindfit.
Writing these moments down helps you pay more attention to what gives you energy, what you enjoy, and what you want more of in your life.
What gives you energy? 💚
Some of the best moments in a day are easy to overlook.
A walk.
Fresh air.
A good conversation.
Something that made you smile.
Taking a moment to notice what felt good gives those moments a little more space.
Over time, these moments can become a buffer against stress and negative thoughts.
What felt good today? 💚
Remember to add it to My Good Things in Mindfit.
I’ve had a lot going on lately. And when I do, I tend to focus on everything that needs to get done.
The fun things? They’re much easier to postpone.
This weekend was a good reminder of how much energy I get from doing something just because I enjoy it. 💚
Note to self: make time for more of this.
What about you? Does fun get pushed aside when life gets busy?
For a long time, I thought setting boundaries was the hard part. For me, it wasn’t.
It was what happened afterward.
- The worry.
- The second-guessing.
- The urge to go back and make everything okay again.
I felt scared. What would they think of me? Had I upset someone? Had I done something wrong?
What helped me was starting small.
I began paying attention to what happened after I said no, and asking myself what I actually wanted — instead of automatically thinking about what everyone else needed.
And I kept practicing, even when it felt uncomfortable.
Over time, I started to understand that the fear I felt didn’t necessarily mean I’d done something wrong.
Learning to understand that reaction changed a lot for me.
It’s also part of why we created Mindfit. 💚
A thought can feel very real without being true.
When we worry, we often treat what might happen as if it’s already happening. We go through the same thoughts again and again, trying to find an answer or feel more in control.
A thought is still just a thought. It’s not a fact, and it’s not a prediction of what will happen.
Sometimes it helps to ask yourself:
Is this something I know — or something I’m afraid might happen? 💚
Your brain naturally pays more attention to mistakes than compliments.
It’s easy to overlook the good things.
Writing them down helps you build evidence that balances out the negative thoughts.
💚 That’s why we created My Good Things in Mindfit.
