The antibacterial bristles of Pro Vital Antibac reduce bacterial growth in the bristle field and thus ensure a hygienic brushing experience. The innovative X-bristles effectively remove plaque, even in hard-to-reach areas between the teeth.

With the Natural Clean toothbrush, we use alternative filament. Here, the bristles are based on castor oil. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the castor bean shrub and, unlike other natural base materials, the plant is not used as food or animal feed. Also, its cultivation does not compete with crops, it grows mainly in dry areas that are not suitable for other types of agriculture. Moreover, the castor bean plant does not need to be fertilised or irrigated.

The filament of toothbrushes is also often made of synthetic fibres - mostly polyamide (PA) or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Essentially, both materials are very similar and offer no differentiating properties.

A difference in cleaning performance is determined by the shape or cut of the filament as well as its diameter. Pointed filament cleans well in the interdental spaces, rounded filament is gentle on the gums and the thicker the filament, the greater the abrasion.

Depending on the condition of the teeth and the brushing technique, everyone needs an individual solution for their dental health.
