🌿 International Wellness Day – April 15 🌿
Wellness is not just the absence of disease—it is a harmonious balance of body, mind, and spirit.
On this International Wellness Day, let us reconnect with the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, where true health is achieved through Dinacharya (daily routine), Sadvritta (ethical living), and Aahara (balanced diet).
In today’s fast-paced world, taking a pause is not a luxury—it is a necessity.
Even small steps like mindful eating, proper sleep, stress management, and self-care rituals can transform our health journey.
As an Ayurveda practitioner, I believe in an integrative approach to wellness, where ancient knowledge meets modern understanding to restore and maintain holistic health.
✨ Let us pledge today:
✔ To listen to our body
✔ To nurture our mind
✔ To live in balance with nature
Because wellness is a daily practice, not a one-day event.
🌸 Stay healthy, stay balanced, stay mindful 🌸

Ayurveda reminds us that self-care is not indulgence, it is daily maintenance of the body, mind, and senses #artofliving. Anyone who has known me for a long time knows that I am a little obsessed with wellness & Ayurveda and here I am sharing some of my daily self care products (Dinacharya) I have been practicing for a while:

Coconut Oil 🥥
I use coconut oil and occasionally mustard oil for Abhyanga, a rhythmic self-massage ritual that calms the nervous system, deeply nourishes the skin, and helps restore inner balance. I also practice oil pulling with coconut oil before brushing my teeth, a gentle morning ritual that supports oral health and aids in clearing toxins accumulated overnight.

Saffron Oil
I use saffron oil in Nasya (nasal oiling) before going to sleep to lubricant the nasal passage and encourages deeper, more restful sleep. I also apply the saffron oil as faceoil to my face for extra glow in my face.

Gheeu
Considered liquid gold in Ayurveda, gheeu works from the inside out. I use gheeu first thing in the morning in warm water on an empty stomach, it supports digestion, lubrication of joints, and overall vitality. I also use this to massage onto the sole of my feet before sleep as it grounds the body and encourages deep rest.

Boroline
A timeless staple, Boroline proves that simplicity endures. I use it as a hand cream, as it seals moisture, repairs dryness, and offers quiet comfort functional, familiar, and effective.

Metal Tongue Scraper
A small yet powerful ritual. Tongue scraping removes overnight toxins, improves digestion, and sharpens the sense of taste an act of daily detox that sets the tone for mindful living.

Herbal Hair oil: I use hair infused with Bhringraj, Brahmi and other herbs which enhances scalp circulation and supports deeper nourishment and repairment before shower.

Gulab Jal aka Rose 🌹 Water for face: I use this in my face to balances oil production and reduces redness.

My Ayurveda journey has been shaped with the guidance of doctor @nirmalasuwal @trifala_ayurveda_ayurexplore through conscious food choices, personalised medicine and wellness rituals 🌿
