After chemotherapy treatments last year I’ve been keen to have a go at making up my own products, in particular a moisturiser or face oil with ingredients to suit my damaged skin.
For a face moisturiser I settled on Coconut oil, Rose-hip oil and Lavender oil (known as blue magic in old folklore).
Rose-hip oil, adds an extra therapeutic dimension to the moisturiser and is extracted from wild rose. Loaded with antioxidants, beta-carotene & vitamin C. It’s known benefits are to keep the skin supple, reducing signs of ageing and reducing scars particularly acne scars for example.
