Full-face anti-wrinkle treatment does not mean a frozen face.

It also does not mean injecting absolutely everywhere just because we can 😄

For me, it means looking at the face as a whole.

Sometimes the forehead is not the only thing making you look tired. It could be the frown between the brows, the heaviness around the eyes, a slightly downturned mouth, tension in the chin or strong muscles pulling on the lower face.

Treating only one little area can sometimes make another area look heavier. This is why I always assess how your facial muscles work together before I decide where to inject.

A full-face treatment can help:

- Soften forehead and frown lines
- Open and refresh the eye area
- Gently lift the brows
- Reduce bunny lines
- Create a subtle lip flip
- Soften a gummy smile
- Relax a dimpled chin
- Lift downturned mouth corners
- Improve the appearance of the jawline
- Slim strong masseter muscles when appropriate

But the goal is never to remove every expression from your face.

I still want you to look like you. Just fresher, softer and less tired.

Every face is different, so every treatment plan should be different too. More injections do not automatically mean a better result. The right placement and the right dose are what matter.

You have had your botulinum toxin injections. Now what?

The treatment itself may take only a few minutes, but what you do afterwards can matter.

For the first few hours, please do not rub or massage the treated areas, lie face-down or put heavy pressure on your face. For the first 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, spas and hot yoga.

And here is something many people do not realise. Botulinum toxin does not last exactly the same for everyone.

Your metabolism, the strength of your facial muscles, frequent intense exercise, regular heat exposure, some medications and even low zinc levels may influence your result.

There is some evidence that zinc supplementation may support the effect of botulinum toxin when it is appropriate for you.

Also, always tell your injector if you are taking antibiotics or any new medicine.
Your final result normally needs up to 14 days to settle, so please do not inspect your eyebrows every ten minutes. Give your treatment time to work.

The Full Face Edit is not about freezing your forehead or erasing every expression. It is about understanding how your facial muscles work together and using Botox thoughtfully for a softer, fresher and more balanced result.
Botox is not just for forehead lines and the frown line between the eyebrows. We can also soften crow’s feet, bunny lines on the nose, excessive nostril flaring and, when appropriate, the muscle that pulls the tip of the nose down.
A lip flip can reveal a little more of the upper lip without filler. It will not suddenly give you enormous lips, but it can create a pretty, subtle change.
We can relax the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth down. This will not magically erase deep marionette lines or nasolabial folds—Botox is clever, but not Harry Potter—but reducing that downward pull can make the lower face look softer and less tired in carefully selected faces.
If the chin becomes dimpled or orange-peel-like when you talk, Botox can help smooth its appearance.
Strong chewing muscles can be treated to soften and slim the lower face, and may also help some people who clench their jaw, although this requires proper assessment.
Botox can also be used along the jawline and neck to soften prominent platysma bands and create a cleaner, more defined contour. This is sometimes called a Nefertiti lift—a glamorous name for telling the neck muscles to stop pulling everything down.
Another treatment I love is mesobotox. Tiny amounts of botulinum toxin are placed very superficially into the skin, sometimes as part of a personalised skin treatment. It can help refine pores, reduce excess oil, soften very fine lines and create a smooth, fresh, almost filtered look.
Basically, Photoshop without needing to find the filter button.
And it is not only for the face. Botulinum toxin can also treat excessive sweating under the arms, on the palms and on the feet.
So yes, it can do much more than soften one frown line.
But the Full Face Edit does not mean injecting every possible area or freezing your entire face. You should still be able to smile, laugh and look surprised when you see your credit card bill.

Why stop at the forehead?
Because sometimes the forehead is not the only area changing the way your face looks.
A small amount of movement in the wrong place can pull the brows down, turn the corners of the mouth down or make the lower face look tense.
My Whole Face Edit is not about freezing every muscle or using as much product as possible.
It is a careful assessment of how your facial muscles work together. We treat the upper face and, where suitable, selected areas of the lower face to create a fresher and more balanced result.

A little truth about my job…
Sometimes I make clients look fresher, smoother and happier.
And sometimes I give them a bruise as a small, unwanted bonus.
No, I don’t sit in the morning thinking, “Who shall I bruise today?” And no, a bruise does not automatically mean something was done badly.
The face has thousands of tiny blood vessels. I know the anatomy and I work carefully, but some vessels are so small that nobody can see them under the skin. Occasionally, the needle touches one and there it is. A little purple surprise neither of us ordered.
The funny thing is that I can treat the same client, in the same area, with the same technique. One appointment - absolutely nothing. The next appointment - hello, bruise.
Alcohol, strenuous exercise, some supplements, blood-thinning medicines and naturally fragile vessels can increase the chance. But quite often, bruising is simply unpredictable.
Please never stop prescribed medication just to avoid a bruise. Tell me what you take, and we can discuss it properly.
This is the nature of injectable treatments. I work with needles, skin and real human anatomy. I will always try my best to minimise bruising, but I cannot honestly promise it will never happen.
So if you leave my clinic looking beautiful with one tiny bruise, please remember, the beautiful part was planned. The bruise was freelancing.
