At Ānuku, every taonga carries a story
Before we introduce the product, we honour the whakaaro behind it - the kupu, the pattern, the plant, the whakapapa, the feeling.
Because our kaupapa is not just about creating beautiful things. It's about reconnecting people with te reo Māori, te taiao and the stories that live within our everyday spaces
ĀNUKU LAUNCHES 5TH SEPTEMBER.
Every taonga carries a story.

We created Ānuku because we believe our homes can be a place of learning, connection and remembering.
A kupu on a jar.
A pot plant with meaning.
A print that carries story.
A taonga that starts a conversation.
These small things matter. They help bring te reo Māori and te ao Māori into the spaces we live in every day.
ĀNUKU OPENS 5TH SEPTEMBER.
Nau mai, haere mai

Ānuku was created from a simple whakaaro - that te reo Māori, te taiao, mātauranga and meaningful taonga belong in our everyday spaces.
We are a whānau-led kaupapa creating taonga that help reconnect people with language, culture, story and place.
From homeware to mahi toi, every piece is created with intention.
Not just to be used, but to be felt.
