I thought with our growing page it would be appropriate to introduce ourselves and why we do what we do 😊🌿

Last year I was running my own Hauora Programme Te Ahi Komau, where I taught my students how to make these beautiful rōngoa. And it was actually my students who encouraged me to make this as a business as well.
This year I have been studying Te Reo Māori and next year I move on to study the degree in counselling.
We pick all the kawakawa we use ourselves in the waitākere ranges where the water is clean and rōngoa is powerful.
While juggling Mahi, schooling and whānau life going out to the ngahere gives us the chance to escape the city life, ground ourselves, uplift our Wairua and have some fun too!
Involving the kids in the whole process from the business plan, to collecting the kawakawa and then Making our products with love 💚🌿

Made from my own kawakawa oil, organic coconut oil, sodium hydroxide lye & Manuka. They have no extra additives and are coloured a beautiful natural light green, purely from the kawakawa leaf itself 🌿

The anti-microbial and anti bacterial properties of kawakawa will clean the skin and any wounds/infections, it's Anti-inflamatory properties relieving and healing skin conditions like eczema, and the nourishing properties of coconut oil gives you an all over moisturisering soap. The cold process is the most natural process of soap making insuring you get the most nutrients out of each ingredient and also a long lasting soap 🌿

This lipbalm is both medicinal and delicious. Made from kawakawa oil, coconut oil beeswax and a faint flavoring of natural kiwifruit extract,it will leave your lips nourished and hydrated 🌿

~Kawakawa Heat Balms~

Made with Kawakawa oil, Nz beeswax and Comfrey extract, it is also infused with cayenne pepper to give it its natural bright red colour and heat.🌿

This balm is a perfect mirimiri (massage) balm for the deeper pains; aches, sprains, muscle, joint and bone pains, womens mensual areas to name a few uses🌿

~Kawakawa Healing Balms~

This is made with my own Kawakawa oil & Nz beeswax. Each of these ingredients have anti inflammatory, anti bacterial and analgesic properties, this is a multi purpose balm thats extremely nourishing.
Just an example of uses are - itchy and irriatated skin conditions, cuts and grazes, insect bites, sunburn, burns, dry skin and lips, nappy rash, tattoos, etc 🌿 $15 per 60ml pot

Kawakawa is a precious rongoa rakau (medicinal plant) renowned for its healing abilities. Topically applied on the skin its anti-inflamatory, anti-microbial and detoxifying properties work wonders to sooth dry, itchy and irritated skin conditions and wounds.
Infused in grapeseed oil this is highly moisturising, rich in linoleic acid, vitamin e and omega, it restores elasticity, softness and protects the skin from environmental damage. 🌿

This Rongoa can be used in various ways
-As an all over moisturiser, especially concentrate on damaged and/or irritated skin.
-For a deliciously nourishing bath, add a couple drops to your bath water.
-Add a couple of drops to your candle burners, simmer pots, etc to indulge in its beautiful aroma. Also working wonders to decongest your airways.
-Use in any recipe where essential oils are required, just to name a few uses.🌿
