After 4 amazing years of making my clients beautiful through permanent makeup, I’m sad (but excited) to announce that I will be leaving to go to the UK!🇬🇧

A bittersweet post as I will miss all my beautiful clients but I’m excited to start this new chapter of my life. I’ll be going in with an open mind to just explore and experience anything and everything that comes for me! 🔭🗺️✈️

My official last day at Salon will be 16 March but I’ll be popping into the salon a few days here and there after that to do your touch ups!

It’s not surgery, it’s just a BROW CORRECTION🤎

Here my client had unsymmetrical brows where one brow was higher than the other. You can also see that the natural contours of her face are also different from left than right. The right side has more curves than the left, which is a bit more flatter.

What I tried to achieve is ‘balance’ not ‘symmetry’. The right side of her brow is always going to be more higher due to her natural contours, bone structure and muscle movement.
BUT you can see that her brows overall ‘look’ even. And that’s the goal!💯

It’s easy to get caught up in the tiniest of details to try and make them as symmetrical as possible and this is a great example of why perfect symmetry cannot be done!

Her healed brows still look absolutely bomb🔥 I’ve filled out the fronts, gave her a nice new shape and filled them with soft powder! We’re not magicians, just masters at enhancing! Let’s be realistic 😉😘

You can’t have symmetrical brows!

99.9% of clients I see have unsymmetrical brows!

No one is perfectly symmetrical left and right and that’s okay, it’s normal! We are imperfectly perfect human beings. Our job is to try and balance your eyebrows out so that it gives the illusion that they are symmetrical. 😊

Notice the words I’m using. I say ‘balance’ not ‘create symmetry’ because we can’t have 100% symmetrical brows if our face is uneven. I say ‘illusion’ not ‘make them even’ because it’s about them ‘looking’ even as possible as we cannot achieve 100% symmetrical brows.

This means that your brows might look unbalanced when you make different facial expressions, at different angles, when your laying down, sitting up…etc just simply you can’t have it all.

BUT wjat I say to all my clients is that we do our very best to make them look symmetrical as possible and that’s what I’ve done here 🤎

Lip Neutralisation 🧡

The goal for a lip neutralisation is to EVEN OUT the tone. This works best when you use a WARM🧡 colour.

Pink is a COOL🩷 colour.

You can still use a pink colour to neutralise but it has to be done with a careful mixture of warm peachy colours so as to not bring out the darkness more.

You can see on the top photo that a pink has been used. Although you can still see that a warmer pink was used, not all of the darkness has been covered.

In the bottom photo, a more peachy colour was used and you can see that it has completely covered the darkness and evened out her lip tone more.

Lip Neutralisation is a complicated process, but it can be done!

❓Did you know that you can change the colour of your lip tattoo?

My client had previously had her lips tattooed a peachy n**e colour a couple of years ago (not by me) and after a few years, decided that she wanted to go a bit bolder and have some more colour on her lips!

Nothing was wrong with her old tattoo (apart from a little wear and tear on her bottom lip which is normal), she just wanted a bit of a change!!

TOTALLY POSSIBLE!

❣️You may decide to start with a softer colour when you first have your lips tattooed and over time can change it to a more bolder colour if you wanted to!

That’s the beauty of lip blushing and the soft technique we use🩷 We look at the long term effects and make sure it’s soft and natural and lasts for you but still give you enough room to change colours if you wanted to!
