I got to visit Brandi at her beautiful clinic for a very special lip blush refresh. Because she has 15 years of experience, she knows faces inside out. She also had previous pigment from years ago, so her canvas came pre-coloured. I’m not going to lie….the internal nerves definitely started kicking in right about now. Thinking, “I am mapping someone’s lips who maps facial anatomy for a living...” The pressure to be flawless was real!

But true expertise is all about collaboration. We looked at her old pigment tones, chose the perfect shade to balance it, and mapped out her exact boundaries, ensuring we stayed strictly on the lip tissue without ever touching the regular skin line.When an industry veteran trusts your eye, your boundaries, and your technique, it’s the ultimate confidence boost.

Fun FACT…..The human eye processes contrast before it recognises shape. 👁️ soooooo lip blush just makes sense.

Your brain is designed to spot shadows and general shapes before it notices the small details. When you look at something, you don’t see a perfect image instantly. Your eyes first pick up the contrast between light and dark, allowing your brain to quickly work out what it’s looking at. The finer details come a fraction of a second later.
