On Wednesday December Tuesday December 16, 2025 kirkwoodsbarbers and will be in Auckland city hosting our annual “Xmas for the community” event at the Ellen Melville centre on High Street.

Starting at 12pm, we will be giving away free haircuts, hangi and gifts donated by & our lovely community.

If you would like to donate to the event we have a Christmas tree in store that is open for anyone to place gifts underneath. These gifts will be going directly to the community in need.

Last year we were able to feed & clothed over 200 people in the community with nutritious food, good quality clothing and personal products.

Christmas is the time of giving & unfortunately, not everyone receives anything at this time of year.
With homelessness becoming a huge issue within Auckland and the wider country we want to do our part to make Christmas a little better this year.

Every Christmas we run our Annual Lunch for the less fortunate, where our team cooks, serves, and hands out gifts to those in our community doing it tough.

From today, our in-store Christmas tree is officially open for gift drop-offs.
If you’re able to give, we welcome:
• Toiletries & hygiene packs
• Socks, tees, hoodies
• Kids’ gifts & toys
• Non-perishable treats
• Anything new & thoughtful

Every item donated is wrapped and delivered directly by our team on Homeless Lunch Day.

No promotions. No branding.
Just community helping community the Kirkwoods way.

If you prefer to pay with cash, this can now only be processed through the Fresha system at the time of your appointment.
