Make up at work is a tricky issue. Some work in a casual environment where anything goes, or even none is acceptable. But for most people, it's about looking fresh, awake and professional without appearing to have a ton of makeup on. This article in the Sydney Morning Herald talks about the dangers of "too much". Personally, I think that's a little conservative - but then I'm probably biased!

So it seems as though lipstick is making a comeback. For years it was almost exclusively the domain of Nanas, Grandmas and those with permed hair and pant suits. But now, with multitude of shades, formulas and finishes it comes in, there is truely something for everyone. What do you reckon, are you giving lipstick a go, or are you sticking with the eleventy billion lipglosses which we all seem to own?

Tired of the same old same old makeup? Going somewhere special and lacking make up inspiration? I highly recommend checking out both Lisa Eldridge and Rae Morris. They are fantastic celebrity makeup artists who are celebrities in themselves. And they both have excellent websites full of lovely makeup images. Also, RM has a book called "Express Makeup" and LA an excellent YouTube channel.
