So, how much protein do I need a day, to maintain wellness ?
Rule of thumb is 1g protein for every 1kg of your weight.
So if you weigh 70kg you need about 70 grams of protein each day.
These foods each give about 10g protein each - mixed nuts 1/3 cup, 2 eggs, most beans 1/2 cup, tofu 1/4 cup, yoghurt 1 cup, and also one chicken thigh or two chicken breasts
For about 20g protein have a look at these - fish ~100g, beef ~90g, one pork chop.
Remember also that cheese and dairy, soy milk, seeds, and protein powders also give great protein.
