So I have been keeping a low profile these last few weeks, not that I’m super active on social media anyway but I have been taking the time restoring my mind, body & sprit. Evaluating what serves me and what no longer serves me.



Detoxing from media, podcasts and audio books (which eventually led to a brain overload!) Nurturing my body with daily yoga practice, gentle uplifting music and nourishing meals.

Although I can’t lie I did scoff down a whole packet of afghans🫣
But I’m not going to guilt trip myself either at the end of the day, we are all human and have cravings that need to be attended to 😅

Contrary to this undesirable choice, this actually goes against everything I believe in regarding to food. I generally eat a balanced diet avoiding the foods that don’t enrich my body.

I live by the old biblical saying “my body is my temple” Something I disregarded growing up as I didn’t really know any better.

Can we talk about that middle age thang that torments us woman. Perimenopause / Menopause YES, I said it. Or even just normal menstrual symptoms🌺

Believe it or not our bodies are meant to be healthy & suffering is avoidable. Eating the right foods can help our symptoms. 🌱

Even if you think you are eating well, HOW do you eat? Are you eating on the run? are you eating in front of the tele watching programs that spike your nervous system? are you eating while stressed? or are you skipping meals? all these have an impact on our digestion, which ultimately leads to poor nutrition and fluctuating hormones😵‍💫

Anyway this is just a reminder to go easy on ourselves, release the guilt of bad choices (like mine) and be mindful of how we treat our human bodies💓
