Wellness educator & devourer of life ✨

Literally can not help myself 🧜♀️
let’s not miss this. 🌞
I’d give anything to go back and smile more. To smile anyway.
To give that little version of me the biggest hug and tell her that one day, smiling would become one of our favourite things in the world.
To have known then what I know so deeply now… that things don’t need to be perfect to be worthy of a smile, or feeling joy, or devouring life the best we can.
Because with that smile comes love.
Hope.
Connection.
And some of the yummiest experiences life has to offer.
Confidence doesn’t begin with becoming perfect.
It begins with becoming friends with who we are.
And from there, we keep growing into who we want to be, how we want to love, and how we experience this one wild and precious life.
For all those years I didn’t feel brave enough to smile as big as I could…
I’m making up for lost time now. 😀😀😀
Loved this incredible Mums & Teens event and the incredible conversations I got to have, sharing this same message.
There were some beautiful stories exchanged and I meant it when I said it wouldn’t always be easy, but it would be absolutely worth it.
My biggest wish for everyone there that day, and everyone reading this right now, is that we might all keep nurturing the things that allow us to hold on to our smile along the way..
🩷
One of my favourite parts of teaching isn’t what happens during a workshop…
It’s seeing what happens afterwards.
Watching someone confidently roll at home.
Looking after their own body.
Becoming friends with their own body.
Maybe even inspiring the precious little ones to love their bodies too 😉🥹
Finding five or ten quiet moments in the day, no matter how ordinary, wild or chaotic that day might be, might just change your life.
That makes me wildly happy. Silly happy.
Thank you to this beautiful human Olivia Walraven for sharing your foam rolling ritual with us and for reminding us how good it can feel to care for our bodies. How “worth it” those moments become 🩷
If you’d love to learn the why behind the rolling, join me for our next Foam Rolling & Fascia Workshop.
Saturday 29 August
2:30–4:00pm
Ponsonby Community Centre
This time we’re giving lots of love to the hips, legs and deep core.
Beginners, experienced rollers and “I don’t even own a foam roller before” humans are all so welcome - I’ll order you one 😘
Send me a 💌 via DM for all the details.
Big love,
Love Niki xo
How differently would we show up,
and how much more would we show up,
if we gave ourselves permission to show up - not from a place of self-improvement, or perfection, or being the best,
but from a place of love,
and grace,
and self-compassion?
Your yoga mat, your life, your people,
they will never judge you for showing up, as you.
Show up happy, sad, in pain, or joyous.. just be sure you’re showing up for you. And with love.
When we ease the pressure of perfection, we find more freedom, and permission, to just show up as we are.
Knowing that is not just more than enough, but healing even.
What would your body say if you were to pause right now and quietly ask, “what is it you need from me today? I’ve got you”.
See what happens, or how it makes you feel.
Ps. Connection will always be more important to me than the 15 second rule 😉
Be kind to yourself today.
With love, Niki xoxo
