Salon Setup
Training NZ skin professionals to grow their treatment portfolio & boost client results. This experience laid a strong foundation for my career.
As a qualified beauty therapist with a Diploma in Somatology, I hold international accreditations from CIDESCO and ITEC (Diploma in Physiatrics and Aestheticienne), along with South African Higher Grade (SAASPH). My journey began at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate, Southern Africa’s premier golfing and leisure destination, where I had the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgro
PRO TIP: Think Beyond the Device
The needle creates the signal.
The healing environment determines the result.
Supporting the skin with result specific products/ingredients along with pre-treatment lymphatic drainage and a structured recovery sessions can improve:
- healing speed
- comfort
- inflammation control
- collagen remodelling
- visible outcomes
Advanced practitioners always think about what happens before and after the device touches the skin.

Neurodiversity Week: Understanding Different Brains in Skin Therapy.
This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week, which highlights the different ways people experience and process the world.
In skin therapy we often focus on ingredients, treatments and devices.
But every client sitting in the treatment chair has a unique nervous system.
For some people, bright lights, strong smells, or unexpected touch can feel overwhelming.
Understanding neurodiversity helps us become more thoughtful practitioners and create treatment environments where every client feels comfortable and respected.
Great therapists don’t just treat skin.
They understand the person attached to it.
Have you ever noticed a client who seemed uncomfortable during treatment, but you couldn't quite identify why?
Crazy Week! All the way down to Wellington and back! Back at it on Monday - admin day!

While my students are starting their case studies with a consultation ... I thought to jump on here with a question to kick off the weekend ...
Why does glycolic acid work so well in chemical peels?
In short ... Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all alpha hydroxy acids. That tiny size allows it to pe*****te deeper and faster into the skin compared to lactic or mandelic acid.
✔️ Accelerates cell turnover
✔️ Improves texture & dullness
✔️ Targets congestion and early ageing
But deeper pe*******on also means greater responsibility—pH, concentration, skin condition and barrier health determine whether glycolic heals or harms.
✨ It’s not “strong” — it’s strategic when used correctly.
