One whole YEAR between colour appointments 🤯✨

This lovely client hadn’t had her colour done for an entire year — and honestly, that grow-out is exactly why I love creating lived-in blondes.

We refreshed her blonde with lots of soft, dimensional brightness while keeping depth through the root for a seamless, natural blend.

The result? Fresh, creamy blonde with beautiful dimension and another soft grow-out ahead of her. 🤍

People with shoulder length hair or longer, have you ever thought about what your handbag might be doing to your hair? 👜👀

It’s one of those little things we don’t really notice — but if you regularly carry your bag on the same shoulder, strands of hair can get caught underneath the strap and be repeatedly pulled, rubbed and snapped.

Over time, that friction can contribute to those annoying shorter broken pieces and split ends, particularly around one side of your hair.

A few simple habits can make a difference:
✨ Switch shoulders regularly
✨ Move your hair out of the way before putting your bag on
✨ Wear it up or in a low bun when carrying a shoulder bag
✨ Choose a wider or softer strap where possible

We wash our hair regularly… but our brushes? They’re often forgotten. 👀

Over time, your hairbrush collects natural oils, product residue, dead skin and general build-up. Then every time you brush or blow-dry your freshly washed hair, you can transfer some of that straight back onto it.

This can contribute to:

• Hair becoming oily again faster
• Flat, lank roots
• Less volume and bounce
• A blow-dry that doesn’t last as long

So give those brushes a bath! 🫧

1. De-hair your brush first. Remove all the hair caught around the bristles and base. A comb or something pointed can help loosen the stubborn bits.
2. Scrub it in hot, soapy water. Give the bristles and base a really good clean to remove all that oil and product build-up.
3. Rinse thoroughly so there’s no soap residue left behind.
4. Leave it to dry in the sunshine. ☀️ Make sure it’s completely dry before using it again.

Just be a little more careful with wooden, natural-bristle or cushioned brushes, as some aren’t designed to be soaked.

Clean hair deserves a clean brush. 🤍

As much as I love my green wall, I totally regret it when I look at this AI white wall. The colour of the hair looks so much better without the green cast 🫠. How good is this before and after though? Fine half head of strategically placed foils makes such a difference 😍
