I love this razor. The build quality and finish are superb. I'm about seven shaves in and I am getting an amazing shave with this razor, with no irritation. I'm using this razor with an Astra SP blade and this combination seems to work well. I also have an Edwin Jagger DE89 which I also love, but the R41 is now my "go to" razor. The R41 has a reputation for being VERY aggressive but I've found if you give it the respective it deserves, it's awesome. Highly recommended.

I bought one of these from Australia about six months ago. This razor is absolutely fantastic. The chrome finish is just beautiful and the weight of it in the hand is great. Hefty but not over heavy and its well balanced. I'm told it compares in weight to the 6S. I use this razor every day now. It delivers a close smooth shave and I hardly get any nicks since I've been using this razor. It's well worth the money. I reach for it every time now and it never disappoints.

Wow. I was hesitant to buy this as its quite expensive but it was totally worth it. The soap is an outstanding performer. The best I've tried so far. Thick, rich, slick creamy lather. Amazing scent. You can really smell the to***co leaf. Even after shaving it still lingers for quite a while. Would love to have a matching shave balm. The post shave feel is incredible. Really smooth soft skin. Don't hesitate to buy this soap. It really is incredible. I'll be buying another when I have some spare cash as I don't want to run out of this stuff.

I have to say that this product will be one product that I will continue to buy and use, it feels great, absorbs so quick into the skin and the smell is amazing. I will indeed try new products, but I keep a spare one of these around. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a product to use.
As a bit of extra info, I have oily skin and this product works great so if you also have oily skin, this is not heavy at all.

I have never used safety razors before, one day a coworker recommended this unit with the premium sample pack.
Having used this unit for just under a week now I can say that I made the right choice, it is not too bulky for my hands and sits nicely on my face.
I can not say it is the best there is as I have never tried others. However, I would say this is a great unit from anyone who can afford it.

A nice smelling pre-shave oil. I was using Col Ichabod Conk pre-shave oil prior to this and you can only get it in Australia. This is just as good and it smells the same but is a more natural product. The other had formaldehyde in it which horrified me. I'll continue to stick with this.

Excellent, sharp blade

These blades have an excellent edge. They're paper-wrapped and in card boxes for those of you who like minimal packaging. They give a smooth result. They usually only need a single pass to get the job done, even on my difficult neck area. I've been able to use them without any irritation, or nicks. Have definitely become my favourite blade. I don't think my face has been this smooth in years.
