Not only was she selected to lead a group of international delegates throughout the pageant, but she also achieved an outstanding Top 10 placement during the Grand Coronation Night. 👑

Inspired by Papatūānuku, the Earth Mother in Māori culture, this costume represents the land as the source of life. Created with layers of green foliage, native-inspired plants, and floral details, it reflects the forests and natural landscapes of New Zealand. The vines symbolise the connection between all living things, while the green tones represent growth, life, and renewal. This costume honours the Māori principle of kaitiakitanga, the responsibility to care for and protect the environment.

The story:

“Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Aotearoa New Zealand is a nation shaped by the sea. Tangaroa, guardian of the ocean, watches over our islands, our people, and the creatures that call these waters home.”
