Thought it was about time for a Dusty update (and me of course). Where have the last 5 months gone 🤯.He is growing up so incredibly fast. I am absolutely loving being a mum to our awesome little man Dusty although he’s definitely the toughest boss I’ve ever had 😅. When I found out I was pregnant there where so many emotions and I couldn’t imagine how I could ever step back from my roll in the salon which was a HUGE part of my life and had been for so many years, I was 19 when I started at The Clip Joint and spent my 20s working for the lovely Colleen but honestly very early on it felt like mine and that was hugely to do with the way Colleen treated me and included me in so much of the day to day running. I was initially so nervous thinking how can this even work with being a mum and owing a salon (my first baby) and it’s definitely a juggle at times as Dusty takes up a lot of my energy but I just want to acknowledge my amazing team - Aleisha, Abbe and Chelsea who have stepped up and are running the show brilliantly and to all our amazing clients that have stuck with us through these big changes it truely means so much to my little family. Before you panic and think this is a goodbye post or something I will be back , at some point down the track but for now I’m soaking up all of this time with my boy and there’s no place I’d rather be ❤️ Love Jess ❤️
