One of these tubes is not like the other... Did you know that cosmetic tubes can either come sealed or unsealed? Some manufacturers do not have the ability to seal the end of the tubes so they opt for the sealed tubes. The beauty of the unsealed tubes is that here at Designer Skincare we can seal them for you with your batch code and expiry date so that it doesn't take up any precious artwork space on your tube!

Primarily used as a thickener and emollient in skin care products, beeswax is a natural wax product created by bees. When applied to the skin, beeswax forms a protective barrier that helps protect it from environmental assaults, while also holding in moisture and reducing dryness.

Our formulation chemist Hope had the pleasure of working alongside some students from Marlborough Girls College on a busjness project which saw them winning an Innovation Award at the Nelson Marlborough YES Regional Awards Ceremony! 🥳

Something we are so proud of that we often don't talk about is the quality of the equipment we chose to use. When we needed a vacuum emulsifier, we knew we needed to go straight to Italy, where the best and newest innovations in the cosmetics industry are born.

We're doing things a little differently on our socials this year. As well as the educational content you've seen from us in the past, we're also going to be adding lots of behind the scenes pieces and content from our day-to-day operations here at Designer Skincare 📸
