As Alchemy turns ONE, I’ve been reflecting on where it all began.

A lot of people know Alchemy as a hair and beauty business, but what many don’t know is the meaning behind the name.

Alchemy is the process of transformation.

The idea of turning something ordinary into something extraordinary.

When I chose the name, it wasn’t because I wanted to simply create beautiful hair and beauty services.

It was because I believed there was something powerful about helping women see themselves differently.

Not changing who they are.

But helping them reconnect with the version of themselves that was already there.

The version that feels confident.
The version that feels worthy.
The version that remembers her own value.

Because hair and beauty have never just been about appearance to me.

They’ve always been about how a woman feels when she looks in the mirror.

The confidence before a job interview.

The excitement before a special of occasion.

The glow before a wedding.

The fresh start after a difficult season.

The feeling of finally doing something for yourself after spending so much time looking after everyone else.

Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege of being part of so many of those moments.

I’ve celebrated milestones with clients.

Listened to stories.

Shared laughter.

Witnessed growth.

And met some of the most incredible women along the way.

What started as a dream of opening a hair and beauty buisness has grown into something I am incredibly proud of.

A space where woman can come exactly who they are and leave feeling cared for.

A space built on connection trust and quality and genuine relationships.

A space where transformation happens every day—not because of the hair or beauty service itself, but because of the way women feel when they leave.
