A friend and I decided to go to a massage course, after this weekend another idea began for form. Maybe massage and beauty was the way to go, I could still be with people, still listen to their stories and still help them to feel good about themselves. So over the next 2 years, I attended courses, began buying my equipment, got a sign and started. It was slow to begin with as I learnt lots about running a business (and that is a whole other story). I have now been giving massage and beauty treatments for many years. I work from home so this gives a lot a flexibility for me and my clients; my work hours are not restricted to 9 to 5 with a late night or two, I can work evenings and weekends when needed and because I don’t have the same costs as renting a room I can keep prices lower. I offer all the major beauty treatments like waxing, skin analysis and several types of facials. The waxing I do includes male and female Brazilian waxing. I also specialize in all types of massage including sports, deep tissue, relaxation, therapeutic, pregnancy and Indian head massage. Along with a very experienced and well-qualified network of friends in the industry whom referrals can be made, a client’s every need can be met whether it be a skin or beauty need or a sore back. Everyone can feel and look their best. Give us a try. My goals for the future are to continue gaining knowledge about the body, skin and beauty therapy techniques and to keep improving my business in terms of marketing and practices that improve client experience.
