Thankyou so much for the support over this past year, it’s very much appreciated.
I feel very lucky to have such wonderful people walk through my door on the daily and without you there would be no Petite Beauty Room.

Hey just because this subject has come up so many times with clients in recent weeks, I thought I’d do a quick post on it.☺️
Those of you suffering from dry skin especially from all the spring pollens flying about… get yourself some Vaseline if you don’t already have it your bathroom cupboard. I know, basic and simple.🫣… but it works!!
Vaseline is an occulsive moisturiser meaning it seals in moisture. But it also acts as a barrier to environmental pollutants. So if you’re abit dry and flakey on your brow bone, eyelids, cheeks, nostrils or around your lips, slick on a fine film before you head out to prevent pollens sitting on your skin and causing irritation. Use AFTER applying sunscreen.
Vaseline is also used for “slugging” too. Despite it being a fairly recent tik tok trend, our grandmothers knew, they were already doing it decades and decades ago. After washing your face at night and while your face is still damp, a little bit of Vaseline on your face will lock that moisture in. You’ll wake up with baby soft, hydrated glowing skin. I do this myself a few times a week.
Despite feeling like abit of an oil slick at times, Vaseline is non-comedogenic, so does not clog pores or cause acne. However I would tread abit more lightly if you do suffer from those skin issues.
Anyway, as I mentioned, basic and simple, but it might help someone!🤷🏼‍♀️💞

I know this looks like a gardening post😏 but actually it’s about growth. In business and also personally. The 1st September marks 8 YEARS today out on my own in business. The first day of spring, new growth, new beginnings. It feels damn good!
Thankyou to all of you that continue to come, and alot of you have done for years. It’s always a fantastic energy when you do💞I’m so very lucky and grateful to be in a job that is, primarily, about the people and the personal connections we make. It’s a very fulfilling place for me to be in.
It’s been a real trip the last 8 years (the last 2 were next level!🥴😂) but I don’t plan on going anywhere soon!

Thought I might have got away with not contracting covid, but it’s finally got me.😣 obviously this means I’ll be shut next week to isolate. I’m so very sorry. In all honesty I’m not even sure how I’m going to reschedule as I’m booked out for the next few weeks. I’ll think about that in a few days when my heads not pounding and my body doesn’t feel like it’s been hit by a truck. Again, apologies ladies, it’s not an easy feeling for me to cancel on people.

Im going to put it out there…. With this extreme weather we’re having, if you feel unsafe coming in today or really don’t want to have to leave the comfort of your home, I completely understand. It’s WILD out there! Please message me and I can look for another time (will probably be next week or week after😬)
Those that can, just know, despite Carl clearing out the gutters this past weekend, there is still a small “river” running down my path.🥴

Grateful to have most of the mandates end, grateful for the understanding and patience , grateful to have kept my sanity… lol

In this job, I’m usually “clearing bush”. But from today for two weeks I’m “going bush”. Haha😉
Back in my beauty room on Wednesday 9th March. All messages will be cleared then as hopefully where we’re going in our wee blue bus, there is not much connection at all. Just a relaxing re-connection with the sand, sea and… that bush.🌳🌿
