I got around to doing my own nails today. I’ve been pottering at these for the past week and while i still have a way to go, I’m pretty happy with these little cartoons. What should I do next?

I decided to be brave and try my hand at some nail art in preparation for NZ Nail Tech Summit 2027. Gemma from .nz and Mandie from Shimmershinebeauty set us this beautiful side quest. There is a bit of work to go as it’s been awhile since I’ve painted detail like this, but there are elements that I like. I got to try some new products that created texture you can see and feel. I honestly don’t know what I was expecting when I did glow in the dark on this set. I’m so happy with how they turned out and need to figure out how to do it again. 🪄✨ art💅🏻 🌟🌙

I can’t believe I didn’t take a better photo of these ones. The other ones were blurry 😢 good thing I’m not trying to promote myself for photography 😂. Shout out to Sarah for going out of her comfort zone for this set.

Light and breezy set to celebrate the sunshine we’ve had lately.

I’m very lucky in my work that I have the chance to build bonds with my clients. Some, just short visits that come and go and I am grateful for each and every one of them because they are an opportunity to grow and learn. For some clients though, we become part of each other’s routines. Fortnightly, monthly, yearly. We share in each-others life stages, weddings, birthdays, graduations, funerals, breakups, job changes, health battles, life’s wonderful journeys and everything else in between. My chair has seen so many smiles and a few tears. I am incredibly lucky to be in a position where I can share these with you. Clients become friends, that turn into family. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share in your story and walk this journey with you.
