🌿 Thinking about your first massage, but feeling a little nervous?

It’s completely understandable—especially when you’re unsure what to expect.

At House of Massage Wellness Centre, I offer relaxation massage in a calm, welcoming space, with time to chat before we begin. 💚

You can tell me what feels comfortable, ask any questions. You’ll be covered with sheets, with only the area being massaged uncovered.

The pressure is adjusted to your comfort, and you can ask me to change it or stop at any time. There’s no need to make conversation either—you’re welcome to simply relax.

If you’d like to start with a shorter appointment, a 30-minute massage is a lovely introduction.

🌿 You look after everyone else… but when did you last make time for yourself?

Between work, family and all those little jobs that never seem to end, your own downtime can easily slip to the bottom of the list.

A relaxation massage is a chance to pause, settle into a peaceful space and enjoy some time where nothing is expected of you. Even 30 minutes can be a lovely break in a busy week. 💚

Or perhaps someone you love could use that time—a friend going through a stressful patch, a busy parent, or a family member who rarely treats themselves. A massage gift voucher is a thoughtful way to say, “You deserve some care too.”

Book some time for yourself, or message me to arrange a gift voucher.

🌿 Wednesday check-in… are your shoulders creeping up towards your ears?

Take a moment to drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw and take a slow breath. Sometimes we get so caught up in looking after everyone else that we forget to check in with ourselves. 💚

A relaxation massage is a lovely way to press pause and enjoy some time just for you.

What’s your favourite way to unwind during a busy week? 👇

Have you ever had one of those days when you think, “Why me?” 💚

Sometimes, even when you follow the rules and try to do the right thing, be the nice guy you end up getting walked all over and treated badly.

Without going into detail, Sunday was one of those days for me. I felt so upset that I struggled to sleep, replaying the whole situation over and over in my mind.

Thankfully, things took an unexpected turn today and worked out in my favour. I’m super grateful for that, it made my day.

It reminded me how easily emotional stress can follow us into the night—and how important it is to give ourselves a little care, too. A quiet moment, a few slow breaths, a gentle walk or a relaxing massage can give us space to unwind.

Do you ever have days like this? What helps you switch off?

School holiday survival guide: 5 fun tips to help parents stay sane! 😄💚

☕ Protect your tea break. Have a cuppa while the kids enjoy an activity. Reheating it three times still counts!

🍎 Set up a snack station. Put out the day’s snacks so you’re not answering “What can I eat?” every 12 minutes.

🌳 Take the chaos outdoors. A walk, playground visit or backyard treasure hunt can give everyone a welcome change of scenery.

🎨 Let boredom spark creativity. You don’t have to be the entertainment manager all day. A cardboard box might be your best assistant!

💆‍♀️ Book yourself a breather. Swap childcare with a friend, enjoy a quiet walk or sneak away for a relaxation massage. Parents deserve a holiday moment too!

Which one are you trying first? 👇

Halfway through the week already? Take a moment to put your feet up. 🤎

Settle into the zero gravity chair, get comfortable, and enjoy a little quiet time before the rest of the week gets going.

Sometimes life forces you to slow down, whether you planned to or not.

Last week, I crashed my car. It turned the day upside down, and I’m now without a car while I sort things out. Afterwards, I developed a sore neck and back, headaches and nausea. I’d never experienced whiplash before, and I was surprised by how much it affected me.

I’m usually better at reminding other people to make time for themselves than doing it myself. This time, I knew I needed to stop and rest. I spent 24 minutes on my PEMF mat, followed by 16 minutes with the targeted applicator near my neck. Afterwards, I felt more relaxed, my back muscles felt less tense, and my neck felt less stiff.

I also spent some time in my zero gravity massage chair and used my handheld neck massager. I don’t know how long that relief will last, but I’m grateful I could take some time for myself when I needed it.

A gentle Monday reminder from me: please don’t wait for life to make you slow down. 🤎
