Braces clients are my favourite because they just get it.
“Will I feel it?”
Not after surviving braces.
“How long does it last?”
Long enough that ‘semi-permanent’ doesn’t scare you.
You spent years with metal glued to your teeth. A tiny crystal doesn’t even register.
The only catch? If you’re one of those responsible people who actually still wears their retainer… we might have to get strategic with placement 😂

A lot of people still ask me:
“Can you actually brush your teeth with them?”
Absolutely 😁 in fact, you should twice a day.
These tooth gems are applied using professional dental-grade composite, the same type of material trusted in modern dentistry. Once they’re bonded correctly, normal brushing isn’t going to send them flying down the sink.
Overtime wear and tear will affect a gem so here’s some tips to keep it intact for longer 💎
🦷 Use a soft-bristled toothbrush.
🦷 Gently brush the gem.
🦷 Manual brushes offer more control than an electric one.
🦷 Keep up your normal oral hygiene routine.
How long do they last? Well here at tooth gems can last on average around 18 months, and many of my clients get even longer out of them.

I’ve had a few people ask why I offer gold plating instead of solid gold….
I think it makes more sense for most people.
Grillz are something you wear to complete an outfit, for a festival, a night out, a photoshoot, or whenever you’re feeling yourself.
So… do we really need $2,000 sitting in our mouth while we’re dancing at a festival?
Gold prices move constantly, which means solid gold pieces can become eye watering expensive and pricing them fairly as a small studio can be difficult. Gold-plated sterling silver gives you that same golden look for a fraction of the cost, thus making these grillz far more accessible.
And if the worst happened and your grill disappeared after a big night out… 🥸 I’m sure we all agree we would rather replace a plated silver grill than trying to track down a tiny fortune.
So to sum up: I’d rather see my grillz out making memories than sitting in a jewellery box because they’re too expensive to risk 💛
Maybe one day I’ll offer solid gold. But for now, I think gold plating hits the sweet spot.
