I'm out and about fairly regularly, so if I'm already heading your way, I'm often able to deliver to surrounding areas too.

It's an easy way to save on postage, and your goodies arrive at your door instead of waiting for the courier.

"Wait... you make more than lip balms?"

I get that a lot!

Lip balms are where many people first discover us, but there's quite a collection on the table these days.

🌿 Wood Balm – for chopping boards, wooden spoons and thirsty timber.

🐾 Little Dog & Cat Balm – for dry noses and paws. (And yes, it has tiny paw prints on the label.)

👶 Baby Balm – a simple, gentle balm for little people.

💆 Massage Balm – smooth, easy to work with and lovely after a long day.

🧴 Body Balm – probably the most versatile jar on the table. Hands, elbows, knees... anywhere that needs a bit of TLC.

🖋️ Tattoo Balm – perfect for keeping tattoos moisturised and looking their best.

💅 Cuticle Balm – still my favourite demo. It only takes a few seconds to show what it can do.

Everything is made in small batches right here in Christchurch, and if you're ever curious about what something does, just ask. I'm always happy to let you try it before you buy it.

Winter has definitely arrived... and our four-legged customers have opinions. 🐾❄️

This week we've met:

A bulldog rocking a pink puffer jacket like a fashion icon. Or a shrink wrapped marshmallow. You decide.

🌸 A little hippy flower child in a floral coat with the most fabulous matching pink tail.

And a sensible wee chap in a beautiful hand-knitted coat made by his mum. (You can't beat handmade!)

Whether they're rugged adventurers, practical types, or tiny fashion influencers, they're all out enjoying winter with their people.

Sooo.... it's taken me a few days to recover from Matariki! Actually a fabulous two night extravaganza, with all of Garden City Makete's usual amazing buzz. Definitely one to add to the calendar for next year!

Lat minute change to planned scheduling tomorrow:

Rolleston Market, Rolleston Community Centre, Rolleston Drive, 10am - 2pm.

When you park somewhere you shouldn't the night before, and then get trapped in a market for 6 hours, AND there's a stall about taking the bus.... It's like the universe is laughing at this guy.

Matariki starts TONIGHT!

This delicious cheese pastry from Jerry & George is more than two of my DIY Lipbalm Kits high! You can find us both on Fridays at Ohoka Farmers Market, Ohoka Domain carpark, 9am - 12:30pm.

This week's supporting cast included a cockatoo who looked like it had appointed itself Head of Quality Control, a puppy convinced that absolutely everyone had turned up specifically to admire it, one enormous dog who could probably have hired a stall of his own, and another who had reached that stage of the day where he was silently questioning every life choice that had led him to a market. And then there's the girl who dressed for the outing.

Friday and Saturday night this coming week! Think fairy lights, music, hot drinks and dozens of stalls to explore!
