**DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY**

I’ve set up a project for a cause that is very close to my heart and I’m sure many of you reading this currently are struggling or have been affected by this in the past.
Depression and Anxiety affects so many New Zealanders and 2019 reached the highest levels of su***de since records began 12 years ago. I myself have had a long struggle with constant ups & downs for years, not only have I had the battle myself but had to experience friends and family struggle down their own path. At the moment with Covid-19 and its unknowns, it’s become a stressful time for everyone. Many people with depression and anxiety may be struggling even more due to being out of their normality and not being around their support network. This is all just temporary but we can all do something to help. A reminder to those struggling you are not alone, and many kiwis are feeling this way. We are strongest when we look after ourselves and others, with technology these days it is so easy to reach out and check on each other. Together, we will get through this.

Being creative is something that I find helps keep my mind busy and calm, in saying that to do my bit and help out my fellow kiwis I’ve decided to share my hobby with you all! I’m going to be selling my earrings that I’ve created and donating 50% of all sales to the mental health foundation.

Completely not makeup related, but I feel like this is something that everyone needs to be aware of, and something that people brush under the carpet when it shouldn’t be. On Saturday I had to say goodbye to an incredibly amazing smart, young, funny and great caring friend, who he unfortunately lost his battle to mental health at the age of 22. This is something I would never wish upon anyone ever. And I cannot stress enough, that is okay to ask for help, and it’s something no one should ever be ashamed of. Please speak out if you are feeling low, even to a stranger, I would be more than happy to try and help ANYONE feeling like they don’t need to be here, you are loved, and I’m 100 percent sure anyone will be willing to help you through your hard times 💕 have a good week people 🥰
