A Little Price Update ❤️

Just wanted to give our wonderful clients a little advance notice that from 1st OCTOBER , there will be a price increase of up to 10% on all hair services.

Over the past few months,I have experienced increases across the board — including the cost of professional hair products, colour, supplies and the general running costs of the salon… a reflection of our current financial climate.

Unfortunately I have reached the point where I need to make a small adjustment to the prices to keep up with these increases.

Ive worked hard to keep our prices as affordable as possible for as long as I can, and this increase will be a maximum of 10%, depending on the service.

I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of my small business. ❤️

Lately, we've had an increase in clients not turning up for their appointments without letting us know.

We completely understand that life happens and sometimes people become unwell or unexpected situations arise. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as you can if you're unable to make your appointment.

When an appointment is missed without notice, it's time that can't be filled, which impacts both our business and other clients who may have been waiting for that spot.
Going forward, if you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, payment for your next appointment will be required in full at the time of booking.

If you do need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible. We understand this isn't always achievable, but we really appreciate as much notice as you can give.

This undesirable has decided to make a license plate out of cardboard and stick it to her car.

The problem is, the numbers on the plate she has made is identical to my friends actual license plate and they are now very unfairly being chased by various places for money owed and fines issued.

If you happen to see this woman around( possibly at a petrol station stealing petrol) please notify the police asap. She has been to petrol stations in fendalton and sockburn.

Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue has been running for more than 15 years taking dogs from all over NZ. When we took on the lease of our shelter 11 years ago, it was an empty concrete yard with a garage & an office. People would donate 1 or 2 fence panels, kennels, sleepouts & we built a pretty amazing shelter; where the runs don’t feel like cages & dogs can decompress, lap up some love & learn to be dogs again.

Unfortunately, the property we lease has now been sold & we are currently on the hunt for a new premises. We are looking at decent moving costs (big items) plus fit out costs for a new premises.

And because punches come in bunches, we have also recently had our van damaged by vandalism, had our replacement runabout car stolen and lost thousands of dollars worth of food to rats & mice!

We have always called CBBR the shelter that a community built because it’s all our followers & supporters that have allowed us to continue to help dogs in need. What keeps us running is all the $2, $5 automatic payments people have set up, the local businesses with donation boxes & running fundraisers, people donating food for our foodbank, kids doing bake sales, volunteers doing markets. The CBBR community is amazing!

We need your help again to pack everything up, move it somewhere new and re-build CBBR even better than it is now. Please comment, like, tag & share like never before 💖
