Between us, our knowledge and experience in the hair industry spans decades. We are passionate about delivering beautiful hair, exceptional service, and creating a salon experience that feels warm, welcoming, and relaxed from the moment you walk through the door.

We’re not always the best at documenting our work because, truthfully, we’re usually too busy creating it. While our social media may not showcase every transformation, our clients do. Since the very beginning, Shambhala has grown through trust, connection, and word of mouth — and we believe that remains one of the most powerful forms of marketing.

Many people ask us what the name Shambhala means.

In ancient traditions, Shambhala is known as a place of peace, harmony, wisdom, and transformation. While often described as a hidden kingdom, many believe it represents something even deeper — a sense of inner calm and wellbeing.

When I chose the name Shambhala Hair Design, I wanted to create more than just a hair salon.

A space where you can pause.
A place to feel cared for.
A moment to breathe.
A sanctuary where beauty and wellbeing come together.

Every colour, cut, treatment, and conversation is offered with this intention.
