Eight months between highlights can leave blonde feeling heavier than it should and it can quietly affect how you feel too.

She’s been growing her hair for years, just for this moment. Today, my amazing client donated her beautiful hair to help someone experiencing hair loss.Before the big chop, we prepped her hair by washing, drying, and sectioning it into ponytail plaits- the way donation centres like to receive it.
If you’re thinking of donating, here’s a tip: always allow a little extra length! Donation centres require a minimum of around 20 cm, but hair above or below the hair tie doesn’t count(so aim for 22–24 cm in total when you measure before cutting.)
