How long does lip filler actually last?

This is one of the most common questions we get.

The honest answer? It depends.

Most clients find that lip filler lasts somewhere between 6–12 months, but that timeline can vary depending on your metabolism, lifestyle, anatomy, and the product used.

One thing we always explain during consultations is that filler doesn't simply disappear overnight. It gradually breaks down over time, which means most people notice a slow reduction in volume rather than a sudden change.

The goal is never to chase bigger lips.
