Let's talk about frown lines.
Also known as your "elevens", these are the two vertical lines that form between your eyebrows. They're caused by the corrugator and procerus muscles, which contract every time you concentrate, squint or frown.
For a lot of clients, frown lines become deeper and more permanent over time, even at rest. The good news is they respond beautifully to anti-wrinkle treatment when treated thoughtfully.
The goal isn't to remove your ability to express yourself. It's to soften the resting tension so you don't look stressed, frustrated or tired when you're not.
A few things we keep in mind:
• A natural-looking result respects how your face moves
• Less is more — we'd rather review and top up than overtreat
• Frown lines often benefit from being treated alongside the forehead or crow's feet for a balanced result

First time considering lip filler? You're in good company.
A lot of our clients come in unsure about exactly what they want, only that they want their lips to feel a bit more "them."
A few things we always say:
• Less is almost always more: most first-time clients only need 0.5–1ml.
• Hydrated, balanced and proportionate is the goal, not bigger for the sake of it.
• Your lips should still look like your lips. Just a little more rested, a little more defined.
The consultation is where the magic happens. We'll look at your natural shape, talk about what's bothering you, and recommend the amount and placement that suits your face, not a trend.
Courtney has new availability for lip filler appointments and is currently taking bookings 🤍

We get asked this a lot! Both are incredible for skin rejuvenation, but they have different "superpowers":
Sunekos: Think of this as the "Amino Acid Powerhouse." It uses a patented blend of amino acids and Hyaluronic Acid to stimulate collagen and elastin.
Best for: Deep tissue repair, acne scarring, large pores, and overall skin resilience.
Rejuran: Known as the "Salmon DNA" treatment. It uses polynucleotides (PN) to actually repair skin at a cellular level.
Best for: Crepey skin under the eyes, fine lines, and that "I need a drink" dehydrated look.
The result? Both leave you looking refreshed and hydrated without changing your natural features.
Not sure which one you need? We can walk you through it at your free consultation! 🗓️
| Sunekos®, and Rejuran® are prescription medicines and/or medical devices that carry risks and benefits. A consultation with a qualified healthcare professional is required to determine suitability. Individual results may vary. View full disclaimers on our website or visit www.medsafe.govt.nz |

Sunekos — have you heard of it?
It's one of our favourite treatments for clients who don't necessarily want filler but want their skin to look and feel like itself again. Brighter, plumper, more hydrated. Like you've slept well for a week.
Sunekos is an injectable made from hyaluronic acid and a blend of six amino acids. Rather than adding volume, it works underneath the skin to support your skin's own production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
The result is rejuvenation from the inside out. Subtle. Glow-like. Still you.
Sunekos may be a good fit if you:
• have skin that's looking tired, crepey or dehydrated
• want a treatment focused on skin quality, not volume
• are looking for something to do alongside or in place of filler
• want results that build gradually with a small series of treatments
Book a consultation with Georgia or Courtney and we'll talk you through whether Sunekos is right for your skin 🤍

One of the most common questions we get is: "How is Sculptra different from filler?"
The answer? Sculptra is a biostimulator.
While fillers add immediate volume from the outside, Sculptra works from the inside out.
It stimulates your skin’s own fibroblasts to rebuild lost collagen, restoring the structural foundation of your face.
The Results are gradual, natural, and long-lasting (up to 2 years!). ✨
If you want a meaningful improvement without ever looking "overdone," Sculptra might be your perfect match.
| Sculptra® Class III medical device contains 150 mg poly-L-lactic acid, injected by a healthcare professional into or below the skin to improve the volume of depressed areas, such as in wrinkles and folds, skin aging and facial fat loss. Sculptra® has risks and benefits. Ask your healthcare professional if Sculptra® is right for you and to explain possible side effects. Tell them if any side effects concern you. |

A quick heads-up for our clients 💛
Victoria Street will be one way during roadworks throughout June, so please allow a little extra time when travelling to your appointment.
There may be temporary traffic delays or diversions in the area, and we'd hate for you to feel rushed getting here.
If you're unsure about access or parking, feel free to contact us before your appointment.
Thank you for your patience while the works are underway 🤍
Chin filler is one of the most misunderstood treatments. Most people think it’s about making the chin bigger, but it’s actually about balance.
We often see clients coming in for lip filler because they feel something is "off" with their lower face. Often, their lips are already perfect, it’s actually a recessed chin that’s throwing off the proportions.
By adding subtle projection to the chin, we can:
✨ Create a more defined jawline
✨ Make the nose appear smaller
✨ Provide the "foundation" your lips need to pop
Curious about your proportions? Book a free consultation and let us walk you through a personalised facial mapping.

If you have been to our clinic before, you will know we usually start with 0.5ml of lip filler. But sometimes 1ml is more appropriate.
If we are treating lines around the mouth as well as adding volume to the lips, more product may be needed. In some cases, the lips act like a pocket and can only hold a certain amount. For clients with looser lip tissue, 1ml can help fill the space properly and create balanced volume.
Every set of lips is different. If you are unsure where to start or how much product is right for you, book a consultation at The Face and we will guide you through it.
