Introducing Amelia Griffiths!

Originally from the UK, Aotearoa stole her heart 10 years ago.

With 16 years’ experience across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, she’s passionate about continuous growth and learning.

Amelia specialises in seamless, long-lasting colour, creating movement and texture through cutting, and tackling hair health and colour corrections with confidence.

For her, hairdressing is about more than great hair, it’s about creating a safe, welcoming experience where every client can express themselves and leave feeling their best.

Amelia is the perfect fit for our close-knit team, her incredible skill set, grounded approach and radiant energy align beautifully with who we are.

We’re so excited for her to join Kin and step into this next chapter.

For a brief moment in the chair I felt a flicker of guilt about taking time out to have my hair done…

But that feeling was quickly replaced by something that carried much more weight, an overwhelming sense of pride in what we have built at KIN.

Sitting there looking through a client lens, I took a moment to soak up feelings of joy, peace and contentment.

The environment we’ve created feels intentional in every detail…

From the abundance of natural light pouring in, to the music that feels current yet calming.

It’s not just about how our space looks, but how it feels…

The conversations that fill our space are beautifully considered, creating a sense of connection and presence that stays with our team even after our clients leave.
