Almost a year ago I attended my 200hr yoga teacher training in Nelson with a wonderful group of willing and eager students. Thats me in the corner by the door in the blue top. Three weeks immersion consisting of early starts, a lot facing downward🙃intense learning and laughs.

I decided to train to become a teacher because over the last 12 years yoga has supported me through life’s tricky times and restored my strength and movement following breast cancer surgery in 2024. It gave me hope and a restored confidence in the capabilities of my body and spirit. My ultimate hope as a yoga teacher is that it can find its way to someone (everyone) who will benefit and possibly be life changing as it has been for me.

Yoga is a holistic practice and it is for every-body💛

My Monday morning class takes place in Christchurch. St Barnabas Fendalton.
