I have always loved this original photo of my mum (even though apparently she didn’t!). I had an idea to recreate it and working with the amazing Carolyn Jenson we recreated this beautiful image.
Mum has dementia so she was blissfully unaware of what was happening when I turned up at the Resthome with my hair and make up kit and then a bit confused when we arrived at the photo studio but she got into it and turned out to be the perfect model.
I am so thankful I had this day with my mum and eternally grateful for the patience and love Carolyn shared for my mum that made this day so special.
My mum was completely exhausted by the end of the day, but it was totally worth it to have this forever Memory.
