I’m looking at adding Cryolipolysis Fat Freezing treatments to the salon! These treatments target those stubborn areas that can be difficult to shift with diet and exercise alone. Non-invasive , Appointments take approximately one hour and results can be amazing for the right candidates.

I’d love to know — is this a service you’d be interested in seeing offered at the salon?

The salon re-vamp is coming along nicely, looking forward to re opening up the salon to our amazing rural community. New treatments are also on the list. Keep an eye out.

Hi Everyone, been so great catching up with you all before I close my doors, I have decided to extend my days till midday Wednesday, if you are in need of an appointment or have voucher/credit to use please make an appt before then or you can use for any of our products we are selling. I will be shipping my salon furniture etc down to Dannevirke storage on Thursday so will not have any gear here to do the job after Wednesday.

Thank you all so much for your support and a massive shout out to the salons who have taken a stand and will not open until the unvaccinated can be served as well. Especially the former salon I used to work for you ladies are amazing!! For those who have no choice but to follow the new rules all the best for you to navigating your way through these times.

Hi All

Just wanted to give you an update and let you know what is going on here at Finesse after todays Government announcement.

First I would like to thank all of my clients for the last 7 years at my little home salon I started after I finished up managing a salon in Te Puke. I appreciate all of your support and for being amazing clients.

All good things must come to an end, some of you know we made the decision after the 2020 lockdown it was time to move rural and try our hand at what our parents had done when we were younger. Unfortunately our dream was dashed by a few things not falling into place and we lost our dream home. We made a goal to wait one more year work hard and tried again.

The real estate powers that be shined their luck our way everything falling into place like it was meant to be and we have managed to purchase ourselves a lifestyle block, we are super excited! I had planned on continue working here in my salon until February next year then open up at our new place however we are now up against lots of red tape and looks like the right to work in beauty has been stripped from us.

Many of you will know I am currently unvaccinated, I am not an anti vaxer a term people like to loosely use but we’re waiting on more information on the vaccine before taking it and are a firm believer in Pro choice. We are tentatively booked to get a different vaccine in January.

We have never discriminated against Race, S*x, Religion, anything and I will not start with discrimination against the unvaccinated. Because of the new mandates while I am unvaccinated and that I refuse to discriminate even once we do get vaccinated I wouldn’t be allowed to work until Green level anyway which we do not know when that may be. It is unlikely it will be while I am still here in Welcome Bay before moving and because Christmas is usually the beauty industry’s busiest month we didn’t want to muck our clients around so we have made the hard decision to close from 29th November. I will be in touch with my clients who have bookings to let them know that I can no longer offer them an appt.

These are new and trying times for us all, many people have strong views that either or are right and those who just have no idea and are just trying to get through one day at a time. Just remember to not fight with family and friends over who you think is right, give each other respect in their decisions and try understand each other’s point of view. Love and light to all of you, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, let’s hope 2022 brings more love then 2020 and 2021 has.

It's here!!! Nail extensions in 20 minutes and lasts 21 days 😮 I feel like a child at Christmas! I will try get a video done of this today and/or a before/after photo. Can't wait to see what these come out like!
