Recently many clients came to my shop and asked what Builder Gel was. Below is the frequent questions.

1- What does a Builder Gel do?
Builder gel is used when you want to create length, thickness, or strength in the nail. You can apply it to natural nails for a non-chip overlay or use it with nail tips to create extensions or enhancements.

2- What is different between Builder Gel and Gel Manicure
Builder Gel is thicker and stronger than a normal gel polish base coat. it can be used just to strengthen your natural nail under a gel polish manicure, or can be used to extend the length of your nail.

3- How long do Builder Gel last?
In average, Builder Gel nails can last anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks. But like with anything beauty-related, this depends on how well you take care of them.

4- Which is better acrylic nails or builder gel?
Overall the best option will depend on what your needs are and how well the product is applied. Builder gels are easier to apply and are less damaging to your natural nails than acrylics.

ADVICE FROM THE NAIL SHOP DUNEDIN
1- If you do not work very hard, such as working in the kitchen of restaurants, house keeping, swimming, gym,… you should choose GEL MANICURE because it is cheaper and we will put some more top coat layers to help your nails last longer.

2- You should do BUILDER GEL if you must work hard by hands or working long time with water or you like to grow your nails very long.
