Not back working yet
But had fun cutting a friends hair yesterday who hadn't had his haircut since i last did it
Was good to take the scissors for a spin!

Well i arrived up to chch on the 21st of August
Had my stem cell transplant on the 29th August
I have gone through some pretty gnarly stuff but I've come through it ❤️
During this time of recovery, i have had the most amazing support i have been surrounded by love, and encouragement during my recovery
The nursing team and doctors have been incredible and i couldn't of asked for better care.
Staying at ranui house has also been a blessing. A true home away from home 🏡 i have met some amazing people who have also been staying here and have made some great news friends!
I've even been doing a few haircuts to keep my hands busy! 💇‍♀️
So i now get to come back home which is the best news before Xmas!
It's going to be a little hard leaving and i know it's going to take time to adjust back to my surroundings and home comforts but i am so ready!!

Sorry all i know i haven't updated you want you've all been wondering what's been going on with my journey.
I've now been in hospital for 46 days, i endured a second stem cell transplant on the 29th September
I had my first one 10 years ago and i was fortunate enough to find an amazing young German male donor.
Everything for me is tracking nicely, I've been able to get out with my beautiful husband most days which has been a real treat
He's been my rock and my strength ❤️
Missing so much but just have to focus on getting through this journey
The team up here in chch are amazing, and ranui house is a true home away from home where family and myself will be staying until i am recovered to come home again.
It's hard to know when I'll be home, usually they keep you up here for at least the first 100 days,
But just taking each day as it comes.
Thank you to all those who have continued to keep in touch and sending me well wishes etc it truly means a lot
So this is what is going on with me overall,

Hard to know when I'll be back to work, that will be a take each day as it comes also and things will probably slow down for me i would say as I'll have to take things very easy.

Little insight to what's happening around me at the moment.
Basically I'm just going day to day focusing on the "now" and taking one day at a time.
Variety of different appointments in town,
Ones that i wish were nail and skin care appointments instead. . 🤔 😆
I'm going through an unusual phase at the moment. .
I have been feeling really good. Somewhat normal. . what ever that word really means,
not out of the woods yet though. I've still got a huge upheaval to get through which i am working to keep myself both mentally, and physically prepared for.
In times like this,
It really makes you appreciate the little things.
Another huge appreciation to those who have dropped off baking, goodies, etc. . . . It's so wonderful. ( hint, hint. Keep them coming haha)

But seriously, thank you so much to you all.

Just a wee update:
I'm sure your all curious/ wondering what is going on
As much as I'd like to go in depth with you all with my situation i have still chosen to keep things fairly private and only sharing with those closest to me. It's been an incredibly overwhelming time for me, and if I'm honest, I've been feeling pretty vulnerable and i know a lot of miscommunication can go around but just know, i am unbreakable.
I am made of strong stuff and i will continue to conquer any bloody obstacle thrown at me.
I have had the most AMAZING support crew behind me filled with good energy and positivity.

Side note: actually enjoying less time spent on my hair 😆
It's not all that bad.

Hi everyone ❤️
Just wanted to give you all a small update
I'm not going right into detail here, but I've almost made it over the first hurdle 🙏 I've kept things fairly private and have only shared to close friends the full ins and outs, as it can be incredibly overwhelming trying to explain in depth to everyone.
I've still got a long journey to go, and i will not be returning to the salon for quite some time but will update a little more down the track.
Thank you to everyone so far for the lovely cards, gifts, goodies etc. . . . It's been amazing the support and in times like this, you really know who are really important to you ❤️
And thank you to Georgia at Falcon St Studio for looking after some of my clients i really appreciate that!
As you can imagine, i have itchy feet, all i want to do is return to what i do best and it is very hard for me to accept that won't be happening for a while.
But i am concentrating on my health and wellbeing 🌟

To all my beloved clients,
I didn't think i would be having to do this, especially over the easter period but i thought it would be best to try and update as many of you as possible while still canceling through appointments,

Unfortunately my health has been hit a curve ball and i am going to be going through yet another journey of battle.
I know this has already, and will be become a huge shock,
I appreciate any messages but it will be a bit overwhelming for me, and i won't be responding here ♥️
