HAND HYGIENE.. taken very seriously here at Skin Bliss and hugely important when touching your own skin or having a treatment such as massage, facials or any situation where someone is touching your skin.

You should see your massage therapist, beauty therapist or skin therapist wash their hands before they begin a treatment on you and immediately after finishing the treatment - before touching any computers, eftpos machines or work surfaces.

This practice is actually health by law in New Zealand and is in place for a reason.

Appropriate hand hygiene prevents the spread of bacterial, viral, fungal and or parasitic skin infections.

I get people referred to me that have ended up with avoidable skin infections that are not healing well.

So please ensure you keep an eye on hand hygiene when receiving treatments at this busy time of year and always politely remind a therapist to wash their hands if they forget. You and your skin are worth it.

After maturing, single extracts that are created on the Janesce farm are then selected for the final stage of making Master Blends. Each lotion, serum, cream, elixir, mask, and exfoliant has a unique Master Blend. These blends are then left to mature for a further 12 months.

This three-year time-honoured process is founded on the knowledge that complex chemical reactions continue when the extracts are left to mature in dark bottles. As time passes, more chemical reactions occur 👏

The result is a Master Blend, rich in complex organic nutrients to nurture skin health 💕

They say beauty is pain but if your skin care burns, tingles and stings… that’s your skins way of telling you it’s not loving it!

Don’t try to ‘push through’ or hope your skin builds up it’s tolerance… (I’m looking at you tretinoin)
