Your skin sheds dead cells all day long, you just never see it happen. A MediPeel uses acids or enzymes to loosen the bonds holding those cells in place, helping the shedding process happen properly. That’s where the name comes from. It’s describing what’s going on under the surface, not what you’ll necessarily see in the mirror.

You may experience some light shedding or flaking a few days after your treatment and this is completely normal. Some clients may notice very little to no visible shedding at all. Any redness usually settles within a few hours, and you can apply mineral makeup straight over the top and get on with your day.

🪒 Shave, never wax. Waxing, plucking and epilating pull the hair out at the root, and the root is the entire thing the laser is aiming at. No hair in the follicle, nothing for the laser to find.
